Looking Forward with Hope: Reflections from Our Podcast
The past year has been filled with complex, intersecting challenges: the pandemic, the ongoing ravages of racial injustice, the ever-increasing impacts of climate change. Yet the team at Arabella has also seen much to be grateful for this year. One of the great privileges of working in philanthropy is that we get to support a wide range of changemakers and leaders, people from across the social sector who continue to step forward to help build a better future.
All year, we have used our “From Idea to Impact” podcast to listen to such changemakers and leaders, learn their often-inspiring stories, and get their advice on how to continue to move our sector—and our society—forward. As the year draws to a close, we have compiled a special end-of-year, holiday-season podcast episode that includes ideas, insights, and reflections on hope for the future from across the year. We hope you will enjoy listening to it as much as we enjoyed making it.
We also hope you will find time over the coming weeks to reconnect with loved ones (virtually or otherwise), reflect, and recharge. As we look ahead to 2022, we know that there is still a great deal to be done across our sector and our world, and that to do it we need to begin by taking care of ourselves and each other.
