Seth Earn

Senior Director

Seth Earn is a senior director in Arabella’s Washington, DC office. Working with philanthropists, institutional funders, and social entrepreneurs, he designs and implements donor collaboratives, national and international grant-making initiatives, and complex advocacy campaigns on Arabella’s market-leading fiscal sponsorship platforms. He also advises clients on bespoke funding and operational structures, as well as strategic and programmatic support.

In his work with Arabella and the 501(c)(3) and (c)(4) organizations Arabella supports, Seth draws on his significant legal and operational expertise as well as his experience with on-the-ground advocacy work in the US and internationally, partnering with clients to launch and scale complex funding vehicles that carry out high-impact advocacy work. He has helped launch and manage significant, fast-scaling social change operations, including national (c)(3)/(c)(4) advocacy campaigns and the 2020 Census Project.

Prior to joining Arabella, Seth worked as an attorney and advocate. As a legal advisor for a global health advocacy organization, Seth focused on issues underlying the AIDS pandemic, including sexual violence and gender inequality. He engaged in high-level advocacy related to the UN and other international organizations, and he also worked with grassroots groups, primarily in sub-Saharan Africa, on HIV criminalization and other policy initiatives. Seth also worked as a corporate attorney at the global law firm Clifford Chance LLP, where he supported domestic and international public and private transactions and capital-raising activities.

Seth holds a JD from McGill University, an MA from the University of Toronto, and a BA with honors from Williams College.
