Kathleen Lowenthal
Senior Director
Kathleen Lowenthal is a senior director in the Partner Solutions practice at Arabella, based in the firm’s Washington, DC office. With nearly 20 years’ experience in the social impact sector, Kathleen oversees and supports new and existing client philanthropic initiatives for the nonprofit organizations Arabella manages, including donor collaboratives, advocacy campaigns, and new nonprofit organizations.
Prior to joining Arabella, Kathleen lead Global Impact’s advisory and fiscal sponsorship practice for nine years, leading strategy and implementation for Global Impact’s corporate and nonprofit partners. She worked with Fortune 500 clients to develop strategies to engage their global workforces, launch employee relief funds, and implement corporate grant programs. She used her fundraising expertise to augment fiscal sponsorship support of domestic and international charities, with strategies to help grow funding from US donors.
Kathleen started her career working in development and communications for small, local nonprofits as well as Philanthropy 100 organizations. She has a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Eastern University and received her undergraduate degree in international relations and Spanish from Colgate University.
