Collaboration Champions Release Principles for Ethical Collaboration

Collaboration Champions Release Principles for Ethical Collaboration

The Collaboration Champions—a group of leading philanthropic support organizations that includes Arabella Advisors—has been meeting for nearly two years to share best practices for supporting collaboration across the social impact sector.

This week, the group is (collaboratively, of course) releasing “A Statement of Values to Guide Philanthropic Collaboration.” Beginning with the recognition that “individual organizations seeking to address complex social issues cannot achieve their missions on their own,” the statement goes on to set out seven ethical principles for collaboration in the philanthropic sector.

The Arabella team is proud to have contributed to the development of these principles, which are consistent with our focus on DEI and with driving impact by elevating voices and building power in local communities. We’re also proud to support the work of hundreds of donors who already follow such principles as they collaborate to effect change on issues from climate to food to education. You can download a copy of the statement below.
