Marcus is a Program Coordinator for the New Venture Fund, where he manages a portfolio of philanthropic projects ranging from education policy to international development advocacy. Prior to joining Arabella and the New Venture Fund, he worked in the Philanthropic Partnership Group at the Pew Charitable Trusts. He holds a B.A. from Rhodes College.
Chris Hobbs

Chris is a Director at Arabella, managing the global health portfolio of the New Venture Fund. Chris manages the Global Health Advocacy Small Grants Initiative. Prior to joining Arabella, Chris worked for Population Services International, where he developed, managed, and implemented HIV-focused health programs in southern Africa. He holds a B.S. from the University of North Carolina.
Douglas Kush
Senior Accountant

Douglas is a Senior Accountant at Arabella, focusing on the New Venture Fund and its financial operations. Prior to joining Arabella, Douglas worked as a senior auditor at CliftonLarsonAllen then went on to manage the day-to-day operations and compliance of a large lobbying association and its related foundation. He holds a B.S. from West Virginia University and is a licensed C.P.A. in the state of Virginia.
Rachael Raab
Program Coordinator

Rachael is a Program Coordinator at Arabella, serving as a full-time consultant to the New Venture Fund. She provides support to over 30 projects and assists in the distribution of over $10 million annually. Prior to joining Arabella, she worked with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. She holds a B.S. from St. John Fisher College and is studying to receive her M.P.A. from the University of Colorado at Denver.
